It is our goal to provide a safe and nurturing environment for each child while offering them the opportunity to develop their natural curiosity and creativity as well as a lifelong love of learning. We are currently seeking fun, energetic, patient, and caring individuals whose love of children and learning makes them the perfect fit for our school! We are looking for both full-time assistant teachers and support staff to join our team. Benefits are available for full-time employees.
This position has a set schedule of Monday -Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Works productively within a group and/or without supervision
- Easily able to show empathy and compassion for young children
- Dependable work attendance
- Must have reliable daily transportation to and from work
- Able to always maintain professional standards
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday, FT/PT till 6:00pm
- Prior experience working with young children in a school environment is a plus
Daily responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
- Provide daily care routines including such things as diaper changing, potty training, and serving meals and snacks
- Support each child's social and emotional development with weekly lesson plans, daily schedules, and provide flexible approaches with children to meet their different needs
- Ability to maintain a high level of customer service
- Establishing and maintaining positive parent communication
- Work in conjunctions with the entire faculty to meet program goals while maintaining professional standards
